人山人海裡 你不必 記起我

今天行誠品,隨手拿起一本書,書背的介紹是這樣開始的:

總有些匆匆一別,後會無期,
但路途中我曾與你共享過一段時光,
便是我們相遇的意義。

Simply Tung Peng Chau

A poem inspired at Tung Peng Chau - an island at the very east:

Simply Tung Peng Chau

Quietly laying at the east,
hidden an island flat and unique.
Waves and winds carved its landscape.
Layered rock paved its way
to build a floor inclining to the sea.
Cliffs formed and collapsed,
leaving bits and pieces.
This cycle creates a nice atmosphere
for various lives to begin their stories.

High and low, tide brings tiny creatures to rock's holes.
Comes and goes, a bird rests there and says,
"Hey! Anybody stays?"
"No way," a silence echo from a drifting boat far away.
Then, a little creature crawls up with a bubble.
It's a crab looking rather puzzled,
"Is it a real voice or just a ripple
from somewhere I never know?"
As it speaks, Oh! Oh! Oh!
Lots and lots of bubbles are squeezing out,
forming a mobile art model.
What a wild life scenario!

Suddenly, piece of stone falls from a higher level
and hits the ground below.
Like a small piece of memory
rolling slowly and then stacks on some other pieces.
Grab it? or let it be in the secret gallery?

With eyes closed and mind flows,
breezes whistle light and slow.
Touching the feeling of hollow.
It's bold and yet humble.
Just imagine and it will show
the joy of being natural.
